Interpretation of the rules will be to the discretion of the Tournament Director. The rules and the interpretations of them will be final and not open to protest. Safety rules may be changed at any time.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Entrants must conduct themselves in a true sportsmanlike manner at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS. Courtesy and ethics of the highest standard are the norm, not the exception. Remember that you not only represent yourselves, but all tournament anglers and competitive fishing. Any illegal, rude or insulting type of behavior will be subject to disqualification or penalties enforced at the discretion of the Tournament Director.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

All local and state DNR rules apply. There is no limit to the number of persons on board. There is NO rod limit, you may use as many rods as is legal. You may keep as many fish as is legal, but you only <strong>weigh-in your best 9 fish.</strong><o:p></o:p></span></p>

Each contestant is to follow all local, State, DNR, and Coast Guard regulations.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

All contestants agree to hold harmless any and all promoters, tournament directors, agents, and Johnson’s Great Outdoors. Furthermore, all contestants agree to waiver all responsibility for death, injuries, damage, liability, theft, fire or loss of any kind to entrants. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in"><!--[if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Symbol"><span>·<span style="font: 7pt 'Times New Roman'">         </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><strong><u><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial">Captain’s Meeting:</span></u></strong><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial"> A mandatory Captains meeting will be held at the <strong>Montague Municipal Boat Launch</strong> on Friday July 30<sup>th</sup> at 6pm. <u>At least one person from each boat must attend</u> - no exceptions.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 6pt 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in"><!--[if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Symbol"><span>·<span style="font: 7pt 'Times New Roman'">         </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><strong><u><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial">Boat Check:</span></u></strong><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial"> A boat check<strong> </strong>will be conducted from 5:30am to 6:00am at the north pier (Montague side). <span> </span><strong><u>Start time</u></strong> is 6:00am just outside the pier head – wait for the horn to sound. All boats are to monitor channel 72 while fishing.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Details to be announced at the Captain’s meeting. Boats returning before 12:30pm must be in line at the weigh-in before 1pm.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

No weigh-ins prior to 1pm. <u>Do not bring more than 9 fish to the scale.</u> No ice or water in cooler at weigh-in.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><strong> Rules</strong><br />
1.    <strong>RULES AND RULE CHANGES</strong>. Interpretation of the rules will be to the discretion of the Tournament Director. The rules and the interpretations of them will be final and not open to protest. Safety rules may be changed at any time.<br />
2.    <strong>SPORTSMANSHIP</strong>. Entrants must conduct themselves in a true sportsmanlike manner at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS. Courtesy and ethics of the highest standard are the norm, not the exception. Remember that you not only represent yourselves, but all tournament anglers and competitive fishing. Any rude or insulting type of behavior will be subject to disqualification or penalties enforced.<br />
3.    <strong>PARTICIPATION</strong>. All local and state DNR rules apply. There is no limit to the number of persons on board, but each boat is limited to fishing with 9 rods. You are limited to 12 fish in the boat, weigh-in your best 9 fish.<br />
4.    <strong>SAFETY</strong>. Each contestant is to follow all Coast Guard regulations.<br />
5.    <strong>WAIVER AND HOLD HARMLESS</strong>. All contestants agree to hold harmless any and all promoters, tournament directors, agents, and Johnson’s Great Outdoors. Furthermore, all contestants agree to waiver all responsibility for death, injuries, damage, liability, theft, fire or loss of any kind to entrants.<br />
6.    <strong>NO alcoholic beverages</strong> are permitted at the weigh in.<br />
7.    <strong>REGISTRATION, CHECK IN, START TIME AND WEIGH IN.</strong><br />
•    <u><strong>Registration </strong></u>must be completed at Johnson’s Great Outdoors prior to 6:30 pm Friday August 1st.<br />
•    <u><strong>Captain’s Meeting:</strong></u> A mandatory Captains meeting will be held at the the Montague Municipal Boat Launch on Friday August 1st at 7pm. At least one person from each boat must attend, no exceptions.<br />
•    <u><strong>Boat Check:</strong></u> A boat check will be conducted from 5:30am to 6:00am at the north pier (Montague side).  Start time is 6:00am – wait for the horn to sound.<br />
•    <u><strong>Channel Check-In:</strong></u> Boats must obtain a weigh-in chip from the chip boat just inside the White Lake Channel prior to 1pm. No Chip, no weigh-in. Details to be announced at the Captain’s meeting.<br />
•    <u><strong>Weigh in</strong></u> is at 1pm at the Montague Municipal Boat Launch, you must be in line at 2 pm. Each boat can weigh in your 9 biggest fish out of a 12 fish limit . No weigh-ins prior to 1pm.<br />
•    <u><strong>BONUS Fish</strong></u>:  10 lbs bonus for each Brown Trout, Steelhead, or Lake Trout. This bonus is limited to two fish (20 lb bonus).<br />
•    <u><strong>Cook out:</strong></u>  A picnic will take place after the weigh in - hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and soda are provided.<br />
All fish weighed in will be donated to the White Lake Area Sportfishing Association. WLASA works in cooperation with the DNR to plant fish in the area.</p>
